What’s Up AIC is AIC’s campus podcast and digital storytelling platform, originally created as a student-led initiative with a simple vision: to bring forward the people, experiences and journeys that shape our campus community.
From students and alumni to lecturers, support teams and professionals working across AIC, What’s Up AIC gives you the opportunity to discover the stories behind the people you see on campus: their experiences, challenges, milestones, lessons and the moments that have shaped them.
Through podcast conversations and short-form social content, the series also offers a closer look at life at AIC, the support and services available to students, campus events, opportunities and the wider community that makes AIC what it is.

Meet the Host
Sangya Sapkota
Host, What’s Up AIC
As the host of What’s Up AIC, Sangya brings together voices from across the AIC community through conversations that explore study, careers, culture, challenges, achievements and life beyond the classroom.
With curiosity at the heart of each conversation, she helps create a space where students, alumni, lecturers and professionals can share their experiences, and, where others can feel inspired, informed and more connected to campus life.
Having walked the AIC student journey herself, Sangya understands what it feels like to start somewhere new, build connections and gradually find a sense of belonging. With a background in business, marketing, media and communications, including experience as a radio presenter and emcee, storytelling and connecting with people have always been close to her heart.
Through What’s Up AIC, she hopes to create the kind of content she would have valued as a new learner — content that introduces people, uncovers opportunities, fills information gaps and makes the AIC community feel a little more familiar.
